i am currently obsessed with this song. if you haven't already seen it on youtube, i really suggest that you do, it's simply beautiful. and these kind of songs are really hard to come by these days, unfortunately. i guess that's why i appreciate it much more!

another page from my spring 2011 cahier, and it's a quote from the film before sunset. i love how bittersweet the saying is. and i can somehow relate to it, for some reason.

note to self.

i came across this quote and thought to myself, how very true! of course, clothes and shoes are important too but i never really thought about how my expression can affect me and those around me. but it does.. and a smile goes a long way.

one of the reason why i like listening to music is because of well-written lyrics. i like to find a line from a song that really strikes out the most for me. some songs have it, while some don't. the best ones are the simple ones. this one is from taylor swift's last kiss.

ps. did you notice that's the middle of my cahier? i love how you can see the stitches, makes it that much more interesting to look at, in my opinion :) or maybe that's just me.

new watercolors.

i recently bought a pocket-sized watercolors, yes, i am a sucker for pocket-sized anything. who isn't, really? and i convinced myself that i needed this so that i can bring it around with me while i'm travelling. that's a good enough reason, right?

i also bought a new watercolor notebook from moleskine. it's my first time using moleskine watercolor notebooks, i usually just use those watercolor pads/blocks. so, on my very first page, i decided to write my favorite quote out :) i think it makes for a good beginning..
