note to self.

i came across this quote and thought to myself, how very true! of course, clothes and shoes are important too but i never really thought about how my expression can affect me and those around me. but it does.. and a smile goes a long way.

That's a nice quote, it's so delicate and simple, its' quite a motivator also.

That's so true! And I also think that people who smile a lot and don't look grumpy all the time are so much prettier.

Yes! Reminds me of Krisatomic's bit about "chronic bitchface". :)

boy do i need to remember this. i've got one of those faces that just naturally looks pissed when i'm in a neutral state of mind! i could even be happy or content, but my face sure doesn't look like it. i HAVE to remember this and put in a constant effort. it's so annoying! kinda sad...but true.

I know people see often how you look like in general, the whole thing, you know? But if they'd look closer they'll see how some of their expressions then really hurt others..
And vice versa.

true!
and the hair also!
i know it sounds a bit strange or superficial, but it is.
sometimes when i see girls with a bun i imagine they are nice, down to earth girls, when i see some with bangs i imagine them like strong/fierce type.
but i guess even the way you express at some point or even your hair doesn't necessarily make you who you really are in essence.
