one day.

"better by far to simply try and be good and courageous and bold and to make a difference, not change the world exactly, but the bit around you. cherish your friends, stay true to your principles, live passionately and fully, and well, experience new things. love and be loved, if you ever get the chance." -david nicholls (from the book, "one day")

i am currently reading "one day" by david nicholls. it is coming out as a film soon, starring anne hathaway. i must say, i am enjoying it very much. i am always intrigued with story lines that are between people and time. and this one is about two people, and twenty years.

have you read it yet? did you enjoy it? if not, what are you currently reading?

I really want to read this, preferably before seeing the movie. This quote just makes me want to go out to the store and get it straight away! Love it.

This is on my long list of books to read! I am a slow reader though because I like to stretch and savor every word :) Right now I'm reading My Life in France by Julia Child and loving every bit.

I havn't heard of that book, but the quote is very inspiring. I especially like that it says change the 'bit around you' rather than try to conquer the whole world right away.
I am currently reading Pride and Prejudice. I've read it before, but enjoy the story. I really enjoy the movie with Kiera Knightly as well.

Also, I love your collage page - it's beautiful :)
