last few days of 2010.

i am thinking of new year's resolutions.. but i can't seem to put them down in words. i guess i will just see what happens. sometimes it's good not to plan and let nature take its course..

reminiscing last december.

i write this in my notebook from time to time. just to remind myself of things.. things i don't necessarily want to keep because i know they are not good for me.

anyways, it's less than a week before christmas!! this time last year, i did the whole 100 doodles, as a gift to my readers. i really wanted to do something similar for this year too but time is not allowing me to. i'm sorry.. :( maybe next year?

i love soup. they always make me feel like i'm eating healthily. what's your favorite kind of soup?

thoughts on change.

there's a funny story with the above quote. so i was googling it up to see if i could find who wrote it and give a proper credit to them.. but what i found instead on google is una bella vita, betsey's blog.

so on that page, i scrolled down to see the comments and realized that i actually commented on that post saying that i'm going to write it down somewhere. the comment was dated march of last year. and here i am.. more than a year later, posting it up because i just had the time to doodle it :)

you see, i have this word document on my computer with all the nice quotes i find on the internet. whenever i find a good quote, i just save it on there and when i feel like doodling, i'll open this document and start browsing to see which quote suits me the best, at that exact moment.

i guess i've never really felt much about change until now. until i found this quote again, and doodled it out. you probably don't want to know all these, but i just thought that it was interesting.

ps. i just opened my tumblr to post the above doodle and realized, i have 10,001 followers!! it's crazy to think that there's so many people out there following my doodles. i don't think i'll ever understand it..

end of year madness.

life has been really hectic for me lately. i don't know how often i'll be able to blog between now and the new year, that is quickly approaching.

for some reason, it seems like there isn't enough hours during the day for me to get things done. and i just hope things will slow down soon enough. cause it's starting to feel like a crazy tornado around here.

anyways.. i just wanted to do a short post, and i hope you are all well :)

well.. i have been pondering about this for a quite a while now. and i am finally doing it. yes! i will be accepting sponsorship starting january 2011 on this blog.

i am not saying that you should tell everyone that you're in pain. or scream it out loud in a room full of people. what i'm saying is.. it's always easier to embrace feelings and then let them go. well in most of my cases, that is how it works. i don't know how it would work for others though.

ps. this doodle was done with markers. i am quite liking it. i may start doodling with markers from now on, just to mix things up. what do you think?

old vs. new ( planner & banner )

hello! i have decided to change my blog's banner after doing betsey's as mentioned in my last post. i was getting bored of mine anyways. and this current one feels more like december to me. what do you think?

also, i took the above photos on photobooth. sometimes the instant gratification of it all satisfies me. i don't have to connect my camera to my computer to load photos. within one click, it snaps a photo and it loads on my computer already. aah technology!

anyways, i just wanted to share my old and new planner. :) and even though i will miss my old moleskine planner and its elastic closure, i think my new one will be as awesome.

ps. those are my dragon by chanel nails. just in case anyone is wondering.

december toes.

painted my toes and fingers a nice bright red (using chanel's dragon) for the month of december. i may change it to a darker red as the weeks pass by..

one of those days.

the last month of 2010.

so i decided to do another post because i forgot to mention that we are currently in the last month of 2010. for those who has been reading what i write and post since the beginning of the year.. wow. thank you. it's incredible. it feels like you've gone through this whole year with me, in a way?

and for those who has been reading what i write and post since i first started blogging.. that's even crazier! actually i don't even know if those people are still around. that's the thing about the whole blogging community, you meet a lot of new people along the way.

anyways, this is a pretty weird post but i hope it makes sense.

writing with a marker.

i don't know if any of you out there knows this.. but most of the doodles you see being posted here, are written/drawn with a fine tip black pen.

so it's probably a little weird to see the above doodle because it looks different than usual. i guess it's all in good fun though. i was just getting bored of using the same fine tip black pen and decided for a change.

the above doodle are lyrics from amy seeley's suprisingly so. it is such a sweet song. i highly recommend it. i love it when songs have little specific details like this. something i can relate to very much.
