this is what i found a couple of days ago, in regards to my
copyright post the other day.. they were all posted on different days.

and this is what i wrote on her page..

and then i received an email from her apologizing which i really appreciated. so i also emailed her back..

and that's what i replied to her after seeing on her blog that she credited her modified work of my work to my page. but as i said in the email, that's not right either because people will think that i made those, when i didn't. and the whole point of linking someone's work is to have it in its original version.
i waited for a reply. or at least for her to take it down from her blog but no. she didn't reply my email nor did she take down her posts.
so i went and wrote on her page again..

the whole weekend past and it's still up on her page. so i went again to write this..

and i thought i was being fair enough, to not have shared her web address on my blog when i found out about it. and i thought i was also being polite enough in my way of asking her to remove it, twice.
and this is what her page looks like now..

first of all, i never said that my ideas were the first nor was i the first to be in this world. that's just silly.
second of all, i am fighting for myself and my work. if you were fighting for your
own work, i would respect that too.
third of all, if you really meant your apology in your email, actions do speak louder than words. you would have just taken down the posts and continue on with your life, as i continue with mine.
but then you go ahead and write that on your own blog. so that's your choice.

-edited-
she wrote me another email.

i am not going to reply to her. so if you are reading this, i am not taking the post down. taking the post down will make it as though it didn't happen. and others won't learn from it.
also, an anonymous commented asking if the photographs used to create my work is mine, as in 100% mine..
and let me make it clear here that i do use my own photos for this blog. if it wasn't mine, i would credit it back to the rightful owner. and personally, i like to create my own content because if not, blogging would be quite pointless for me.
as for my
spring 2010 cahier, i did use other people's photos for some of the pages and i was contacted by one of them, even though i did credit them on the post. but as soon as i got the email, i replied, apologized and removed it from my blog, flickr and tumblr because i thought that was the right thing to do.
i'm not going to comment on what she wrote on the email above because that would just make it worse. i was already
turning over a new leaf and i am sticking to it.
-edited- comments are now disabled for the better :)
