always my favorite, strawberry shortcake.

i don't know about you but every time i go inside a cafe or a restaurant and if they have strawberry shortcake on the menu, i will most likely order it. the same thing also applies to when i go to a bakery or a cake shop and if they are selling strawberry shortcake.. chances are i'd be buying it. you get the point.. i loooooove strawberry shortcake.

recently, i have found the perfect one and the place is oh-so convenient for me which is a plus. it has the perfect sponge cake, perfectly fresh cream and strawberries. i guess it would depend on my mood but strawberry shortcakes are usually my "go-to" cake. unless they have some really sinful warm dark chocolate cake, then maybe i'll have that instead.

what's your "go-to" cake? it's okay, you can have more than one..

numbers and a sincere note.

apparently i've reached 1000 readers on bloglovin', 4000 more on tumblr, 1000+ on blogger and 3000+ on google reader.. so in total, that's around 9000 people reading and seeing what i write. and that's crazy. but i just want to thank all of you guys out there who reads this blog of mine. some days are good, some days are bad.. but that's how life is, right?

i just hope i can continue to write more and keep this going for as long as i can :)

then again.

sometimes i think i have too much of pressure, tension and discipline in my life..

before anyone asks, the nail color is my private jet by opi. i've been buying nail polishes every other week these days.. it has turned into a really bad habit. but i am trying out other brands, not just opi and chanel. any good recommendations? still trying to find the perfect dark gray.. ysl might just be the one with "tuxedo grey".

ps. someone asked why i choose to italicized some of the words on my post and they didn't understand why some of these words were emphasized. all i can say is that.. it may not be to you but it is for me. that's all.

since we are on the subject and all.

this is my current summer film: the little rascals. i've been watching it over and over again and i've even gone slightly too obsessed by quoting them in my daily life. thankfully, i have people around me who understands because i forced them to watch it with me and now we are all in the same boat.. and we have our own little rascals inside jokes.

if you haven't seen this film yet, i highly suggest it because it makes you happy. truly happy that you'll end up having a smile on your face at the end of the film.

my new favorite show for the summer.

i've been anticipating every week for an episode to come out. if you haven't already been watching pretty little liars, i really suggest that you do. it's kinda the perfect combination of everything but i think i appreciate the intense mystery of it all.

and i do think the "fitzaria" thing is kinda cute but if it really happens in real life, i think it's a little weird/awkward/inappropriate.

this is where all my phone photos comes from.

some of you asks me what phone it is that i use to take my phone photos.. well this is it. my blackberry 9700. i could not ask for a better phone. i like everything about it, no complains whatsoever. and i also bought an application to make my camera shutter to be silent so no one really knows when i am taking a photo. not that i am a pervert, but i like to be discrete in that way.

my sister has been buying lots of pretty flowers these days. the hydrangea above is one of them. unfortunately, the thing with hydrangea is that their smell is not as strong. or maybe there's something wrong with my nose? i don't know. but i do know that they are really pretty. all those subtle shades of blues and purples.. i love it.

also, i came across this really pretty nail art on the internet. it was from a link to a link and i thought i'd share it here. someone has asked me before if i do nail arts or anything fancy to my nails.. unfortunately, i don't. i used to be really experimental when i was younger but not anymore. then i came across tumblrs that are dedicated to nail arts and now i am hooked!! maybe i'll try to do something with my nails soon :) stay tuned.

have you tried any fancy nail arts recently? any tutorials to share, maybe?

late night talks and discussions

the online shopping itch

i was browsing through urban outtfitters uk and they seem to have much better things than the american urban outfitters..?! they just seem to be more girly and romantic, in my opinion. and it's quite perfect and suitable for summer.. all that florals and pretty pinks!!

and oh, i also found the perfect cutting boards! it's so cool and divided into computer-like folders, according to the type of things you are going to cut on it.. for example: green board is for vegetables, red is for meat, blue is for fish and white is for cooked food. how amazingly clever is that?
