acknowledgement.

i am not saying that you should tell everyone that you're in pain. or scream it out loud in a room full of people. what i'm saying is.. it's always easier to embrace feelings and then let them go. well in most of my cases, that is how it works. i don't know how it would work for others though.

ps. this doodle was done with markers. i am quite liking it. i may start doodling with markers from now on, just to mix things up. what do you think?

I completely agree about how feelings are part of a person. Sometimes, just having feelings can help guide you to make the right decision and steer you in the path towards happiness. :)

i do like the marker!

lately i have been feeling like i really am doing exactly the opposite of hiding my pain... but only to certain people. i think i attach myself randomly to certain people and tell them everything, and tell nothing at all to other people.

I like the markers but I like your old style with the thin writing. ctually If you did mix the two together it would be great. :O

I also like the markers!
It would be fun if you mixed them both together.

In normal cases, I would agree with you.
Embracing pain and have at least yourself know about them makes it easier to do something about it. If you just try to ignore it, it'll only build up stronger.

but there are some things that can cause you pain that'll linger for a very long time.
I hope none of you will ever have to experience this.
Being sick and realizing it'll probably stay with you forever makes you think of "forever" in a new light.

That is so true...feelings are what make us human. I completely agree that embracing our feelings and then letting them go is far better than hiding them away.

I love the marker writing too!

This is beautiful in it's own way, and it was something I needed to hear and share with some others.

Thank you :)
And I think the markers look great! It's a bit different than the usual, spicing it up a bit!

i was watching gi jane yesterday on netflix. and even though this is the more physical extreme version of pain, there was a line..."the best thing about pain is that it lets you know you are alive".
its true.

What a pretty doodle with the marker! Great thought. I always try to at least admit I'm sad or in pain so then I can let it go. It does work! Happy Thursday!

P.S. Thanks for doing the planner post! It reminded me to get one! I got mine yesterday! =)

I agree so far that you have to face your feelings whatever they are. However, you must also be able to let them go otherwise they can be damaging to you, and that goes with both the positive and the negative feelings.
I guess that too much and too little are don'ts but trying to keep a balance is a do. :)

On the writing, I like the narrower lines (pencil?) but its always good to change a bit now and then. You can always go back, its not like we'll haunt you whatever you do :D
