recently on my phone.

baked some snickerdoodles, which were super yum! and from that i got inspired to add cinnamon powder to my regular sugar in my coffee every morning. it makes such a big difference. i don't know why i didn't think of doing that previously. no looking back now..

watched keeping the faith on my ipod. a pretty old film but it's good nonetheless. i really want an ipod touch because they are lighter and has a bigger screen. mine is currently the 120gb ipod that does not exist anymore and it's quite a pain to carry it in my bag every single day.

other than that.. i've been spending a lot of my time in front of my beloved macbookpro and having tomato soup :)

ps. any romantic comedies to recommend? doesn't matter if they are super old, as long as they are good! i am a sucker for romantic comedies.. then again, who isn't.. right?

I love my 80gb classic iPod. I wanted an iPod Touch too, but they don't have that size of memory anymore and I have A LOT of stuff on it!

I think "500days of summer" has been recommended too often. Other than that I don't think I have the time to watch romantic comedies anyway :(

How about, Me and You and Everyone We Know - I guess it could be described as a romcom of sorts... it's definitely a love story and it's definitely funny. Really quirky.

I love You've Got Mail. If you don't mind series, I'd recommend BBC's Emma and Pride & Prejudice. The Fabulous Life of Amelie Poulain. If you don't mind fluffy and totally pointless, there's also Leap Year where Amy Adams is simply a sweetheart. :)

You should watch the notebook, a walk to remember, definitely maybe, love happens, he's just not that into you, the holiday, ...

Heh, I saw Keeping the Faith in the theater, during a time when I was absolutely in love with Edward Norton. I don't remember having any strong feelings about it either way, though.

As for romantic comedies, I am suddenly drawing a total blank - natch! Let's see...Bridget Jones's Diary, Sleepless in Seattle, In Her Shoes, While You Were Sleeping, The Princess Bride, Much Ado About Nothing (though I've only seen it on stage, not film), High Fidelity...

I'm sure tonight I'll wake up at like 2am and suddenly remember a whole bunch of great films, and then completely forget which blog I saw this on. Heh.

Anyway, love the photos. And snickerdoodles. Those are awesome.

P.S. - My husband puts pumpkin pie spice in just about everything: coffee, cereal, pancake batter, etc. Autumn is his very favorite season just for all the seasonal treats that use pumpkin pie spice! :)

Uau! I didn't know about those wonderful cookies!!
Tomato soup is much better than gaspacho!! :p
About the romantic comedy... try "Holiday" (with Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet and Jack Black). Or even "Brigitte Jones Diary", or "You, Me and Dupree"! :)

I LOVE romcoms! They're my favourite genre of film. I've only seen the more popular ones, but a good favourite of mine is The Holiday. That is, if you haven't seen it already! It'll put you in the festive mood, too, hehehe.

Mmm... tomato soup. Delicious.

Christmas in Connecticut - the new one, with Dyan Cannon

Ooh! I just watched Say Anything. It was made in 89 and is quite funny and a bit odd, but I loved it! John Cusack is so dreamy :)

The best romcom i know is "my best friend's wedding".. its quite an old film starring julia roberts, cameron diaz and my favourite, rupert everett. Its a really charming show! I think you'd like it. (:

I love 500 days of summer, it's a beautiful film. It's unqiue too so it's not what you would normally expect from a rom-com.

Life As We Know It. It's quite new but it was good :]

Yes man, with Jim carrey and Zooey Deschanel. It's funnier than I thought it would be.

I've never had a snickerdoodle. I've heard of them but never had one. Must be delicious!! =)

This is an oldie but a goodie. "Barefoot in the Park". It's got Jane Fonda & Robert Redford in it & it is so cute & funny!! It's great for a rainy day. =)

Lars and the Real Girl is a really lovely heartwarming and slightly quirky romcom.

I'm sure you've seen this, but 50 First Dates never fails to make me smile.

Hey! right now I can't think of many. But 2 not mentioned "Notting Hill" and "Never Been Kissed" oh and another you have probably seen: "As Good as It Gets"

I don't see this on the list, but if you like romcom, you have to see Leap Year. I ended up randomly choosing from Redbox because there was nothing else. It was ADORABLE. Letters to Juliet is a newer one that is also super cute :) Oh, and Matchmaker with janeane garofalo is a sort of unknown, but really cute movie also.

Saw "Morning Glory" last night - charming. Always a good sign when there's clapping at the end of a movie!

Hope Floats (Sandra Bullock and Harry Connick Jr.) is sweet and PS I Love You ... hmm also with Harry Connick it occurs to me! Hilary Swank is delightful. Agree with so many of the other suggestions too.

i really liked made of honour.. she's all that is an ancient romance film, but not exactly comedic..

Paris When it Sizzles with Audrey Hepburn, not her typical movie.
