shades of blue and gray stones

as promised, here is the first of the stones postcard from my previous post. i think out of the three, i like this one the best. i'll post the other two soon enough.. probably one by one. because i just realize that they look more like camouflage on screen. and i'm not too sure that i like that.

also.. i have a whole stack of expired polaroids. i am still thinking of a way to do something with them. i just haven't figured it out yet. and in a way, i feel like it'll be a waste if i do anything to them. so maybe i'll just let them be as they are. or maybe that's my laziness talking.

Ooh! When I was little we had a bunch of expired Polaroids, so we got creative with them. Take a picture, and then scratch the film with a toothpick before it's fully developed. It makes pretty cool marks on the picture. You have to play with it a bit, but you can make some fun stuff.

I really like your new design, such a great mix of color.
I'm really amazed at how perfectly each stone was painted and how it all fits together.

I ♥ Polaroids. I'm sure you will make good use of them, even if you just leave them as they are. It's classic!

The stones look a bit like footsteps. Quite appropriate for the quote which talks a bit about success. "Stepping stones" comes into mind.

Lovely quote :)
They really look like pebbles, I don't think it looks like camouflage :)

Love that quote! And I would totally use the expired ones. One of my Flickr contacts uses expired film almost exclusively and it looks sooo cool! :) http://www.flickr.com/photos/polamour/

I think your Polaroids are beautiful just the way they are. Or, you could write lovely messages upon them. :)

I can relate to the quote so much!
I like the pebble look a lot too, nice colour palette.

As for your polaroids, why don't you experiment with them or something, scratch them, dye them, etc.
