1. i am in desperate need of a haircut. and i think my hair length is at that stage where they just like to fall apart. it's kind of ridiculous the amount of hair that's falling off every time i shower or brush my hair. so yes, i really need a haircut.
2. i just read what cameron diaz said about losing her virginity, that it was a "chore". and i really hope that it's some sort of miscommunication from her to whoever was interviewing her. cause or else.. seriously, what are you trying to tell the kids who look up to you? i mean.. whether or not you are religious, the topic is a private and sensitive one. you shouldn't be just doing it to "get it over with". i truly believe that it's a sacred thing that you should cherish until you get married. call me old-fashioned but that's what i really believe in.
3. i realize that i used to create a lot more graphic images previously. the ones that are created by the computer.. but recently i'm more keen on creating something with my own two hands. technically, the computer graphics are done with my own two hands too. but you get what i mean. below is an example of what i used to make. which do you like better? my hand-drawn doodles or my computer graphics?

first, i admire your old-fashioned morals, and 100% agree!
second, your hand drawn doodles are what make me keep coming back! i can't get enough. i love them and relate so closely to so many of them!
third, yes, please do get a haircut. it will make you feel fresh and new! i love getting haircuts! :)
I like both, but the handdrawn doodles attract me more I guess. :)
Definately not old fashioned. I think girls and boys are too liberal in that area.
I love your hand drawn doodles, but really everything you do is really cute :)
in response to #2... i have so much respect for you. seriously, not many people cherish that these days, and it's refreshing to see someone who's "old fashioned" about it. kudos to you, dear. :)
I completely agree with you about #2. It's disheartening that so many celebs take the subject so lightly.
Your computer graphics are really cute, but I ansolutely love your handdrawn doodles! They are creative, beautiful, and meaningful <3
Old fashioned it may be but it speaks of the very truth I too believe in. It's far from a chore and because she said that, I think my opinion of her sunk. I really thought her as beautiful and gorgeous.
I think I like better what you do on your own two hands. It's what you call "hand made" therefore, it's with love.
Your hand-drawn doodles definitely! :D Keep drawing, it's truly inspiring!
I love your handdrawn graphics! & I completely agree with you about #2
I prefer your hand-drawn doodles, there is something more personal(obviously) and more special about them :)
About the subject number two, well I agree with you, it's something sacred. It's a respect toward yourself I think not to consider it as a 'chore'. But I guess Cameron Diaz said it because she's 'done' with it from a long time. Easier to say those words now than at the moment. (though I haven't read the interview)
Anyway, keep drawing and doodle-ing those are the best (in my opinion)
i share your same thoughts on #2. i'm also "old-fashioned" in that respect.
& i love everything you make- both graphics & hand-drawn doodles. xx
wow i hadn't seen your early stuff which is uber cool but i love your "hand made" stuff even more i think - all very cute though! keep up the good work ;)
i love your hand drawn doodles better lovely, and I'm a graphics student :)
don't be sad today, if it makes you feel any better I need a hair cut too and my hair dresser wont cut me a fringe cos my hairs too thin :( which sucks cos I want one!
I also dont like the Diaz comment, I think it's a big deal and I'm only 20, it sounds awful when she says it like that x
The same thing happened to me some weeks ago and I cut my hair too. Now is so much better! Plus the split ends are everything but good.
I don't think it's old-fashioned, each person has the right to decide what she/he wants for herself/himself. I don't think that is the only way, but I respect people who thinks it.
Love!
xxx
I feel the same way as you and maybe I'm old-fashioned too, but I do think people shouldn't be so rushed to 'get it over with', as you said.
And I think I like your hand drawn stuff a bit better, but that's just me.
loving your honesty, and i'm right there with you.
and i LOVE your hand drawn doodles :)
I 100% agree with what you said about saving virginity for marriage! Its great to see others who think the same way.
I looovveee your drawn graphics! They have so much unique personality to them that can sometimes get lost with computer graphics!
:)
p.s. I wouldn't call that old fashioned I think that's the way things should be -- I totally agree with you.
That little purple bubble is so cute, even if he is gloomy :)
I like your graphics and your hand drawn art so don't stop with either ^_^
xoxo
Olivia
your hand doodles are so more unique! please stick with them though your graphics are amazing too :)
except....isn't it up to the individual to make the choice about their morals?
what's right for one person may not be right for someone else. I couldn't judge a persons behavior in a situation I was not involved in.
I agree with you, many people take sex to lightly like its just something cool to do , and get over it! And its kind of sad cause it makes love less special and magic! I guess I am old fashioned too :P
I love your doodles they make your drawings so special. I love your blog for that its so original
I havent seen your handdrawn once, but this one is good :) Good luck with getting a new haircut :D
I so get what you mean! My hair is a total mop, unless I get it thinned out once every two months or so.
And I TOTALLY agree with you about the virginity thing!!!!!!! It makes me so so sad that something that was so sacred a bond between a married couple has turned out to become waaaay too public! A chore? That's a bad call I must say.
Hope you get to have your haircut soon! It's always a treat to spoil yourself with a good cut :)
x
Try mixing handmade TEXT with computer IMAGES :)
I just have to say, I love your blog to bits but I had to comment when I read your point number two. I'm 23, waiting until marriage, and I'm basically the last holdout among my friends. While I believe that everyone should do what feels right for them personally, I think it's frustrating that in today's society saving yourself for marriage (or even a loving relationship) isn't seen as a valid choice. I find the idea of waiting until marriage romantic, and it's refreshing to see another blogger who feels the same. Keep up the amazing work, bb.
(You lost your virginity when you got married? I live in Sweden and here, most people, do "it" when they're 14-17. I'm not sure about how you feel but I had a lot of hormones running around and I couldn't wait to try it. Teenagers aren't mature enough to have sex, I realized that even then, but it's really hard to be curious and hormonal and inlove and NOT have sex, don't you think? If it's not to personal I'm very curious about how it is to wait until you get married, is it really as special and beautiful as you would think? And isn't it always special and beautiful if it's with someone you love?)
lisa- i think it all comes down to perseverance. and just in case you didn't know, i am not married yet :) so i am not really in the place to answer your last bit of questions.
but yes, i really do believe in not doing "it" before marriage. i went through my teenage phase of 14-17 years old already and it really does come down to what i believe in and i stuck by it.. no matter what everyone else around me was doing.
i hope that helped answer some of your questions :)
(Thanks for being so open and honest. I've enough lovers to know that when you fall inlove with someone - when you met your soulmate - the first time with that person always feels like it's the first time you've been touched - it's like that 80s Madonna song, "Like a virgin" - but I think it's great that you've saved yourself. Everyone should see their body as a their temple.)
point 1: i sorries, i only wish my hair was long once again
point 2: i totally agree with you!
point 3: i like your hand-drawn doodles.
hope this helps!
Sex and love are two different things. Having sex with someone you love IS special.
Wonderful to wait to have sex (of course it's your choice). I have had friends who waited and found out that in the long run they were not compatible with the person they married. Just because you wait does not guarantee that everything will stay perfect in your marriage, and romance is something that you have to really work at especially after a few years of marriage. Relationships and love evolves over the years. It's sad but we seem to live in a disposable society where the institution of marriage doesn't seem to mean much (if you've checked the divorce rate).
