this is what i know for a fact: i am still a little kid at heart. it's not that i'm immature or childish.. it's more like i enjoy the things that little kids enjoy, specifically their films. don't get me wrong though, i hate cartoons. i hate spongebob. and other annoying sounding characters.. so maybe i am not a little kid at heart, after all. i don't know where i am getting at..
but this is what i know. i like nancy drew, harriet the spy, matilda, kit kittredge and you get my drift. any young girl with a character and special ability. i always find it so amusing, charming and just plain special :) and secretly, i wish i could be like them.

I'm not a fan of cartoons either ...I've always wanted to be a "woman" since I can remember ...but I do enjoy the freedom that comes with frolicking and singing around the house like a child would.

I love matilda and harriet the spy too! I watched the movies numerous times. And there's the little princess too! :)
I am not sure if you like folklore, but one of my favorite heroine is 'Spirited Away''s Sen. Have you watch spirited away before? It's absolute best (: This Japanese animation even won best animation in Oscars.
I know what you mean, but how can you hate Spongebob, hes hilarious! I love the movie Matilda, don't know the other movies. You should try Charlotte's Web?

i totally feel your kid-ness. that's like.. my life. your posts seriously connect to me so much! maybe we are soulmates. anyway, whenever i hear my friends went clubbing, drinking or smoking (yuck), i just wish why can't we all just play hide and seek, freeze tag, share scary stories, watch disney movies, play board games, sherades. and i wish dances were swing dances, hoe downs, or even game nights instead. i feel like there'd be so much more bonding and fun.
and i used to be known for my bubbliness and happiness but so many people would ostracize me for that so i totally relate with that quote as well. xD
as for other characters, i like old school characters (the one thing we differ in i guess xP). i like hey arnold, doug, the dog in blues clues, rugrats, all disney movie characters (ratatouille is a must see! really, all disney movies are a must see!). :) wow this was a longg comment. xD
ohhh, i LOVE kid movies. they are so fun. i loved madagascar, over the hedge, monsters vs. aliens, etc etc! i have yet to see how to train your dragon, but i heard it was just lovely. for older movies, you can never go wrong with the secret garden and eloise.
