so, the bad news is that my scanner is broken. and i won't be able to scan any of my doodles in for a while. until i get a new scanner, which might be a while. but i still have a couple of doodles here and there which i have not posted yet.
but the good news is.. i'll just have to start creating things that won't need the scanner. for example: the above doily with lyrics on it. i'll just take photos of my doodles for now. it's kinda more convenient this way anyways. (the lyrics is from carla bruni's those dancing days are gone. i highly suggest the song. i really like her voice.)
also, i managed to paint my nails today. i didn't have time to manage them lately because i was unwell. they were so ugly and untamed but not anymore! i am really liking the nude mannequin look for spring. what colors are on your fingers for spring? mine is called tickle my france-y :)

Hey this may sound obscure but...
I have a scanner if you would like it. It's compatible with Windows XP (couldn't get it to work on our Vista computer). It's about ten years old, but scans pretty high quality. Our printer just broke and we got a new one with a scanner built in so the hour you posted about your scanner breaking, I found myself with an extra.
Didn't know if you meant it might financially be a while before you got a new one or just before you could physically get a new one, so I thought I'd offer it. :)
