sometimes it's enough to see someone else happy,
to make you happy.
to make you happy.
there has been some comments lately asking about what font i use for my photos. well, here's the answer: it's my very own handwriting. i thought it'd be pretty obvious since the name of this blog is notebook doodles but this post is just to clarify it. anyways, i've been thinking of making it into a font but never really got around to doing it. maybe one of these days, i will eventually do it. what do you think?

just a quick update: i am going to portland to see this show on the weekend. amidst all the fashion week and vma's mayhem in new york, i think it'll be refreshing to watch traditional and classical arts. just look at all those costumes and backgrounds! i am pretty sure it'll be breathtakingly beautiful in real life. see you there?
sometimes, you just know without having to say one word.
to have someone say the above? and actually mean it?
if you have been reading this blog for a while now, you would know that i am totally obsessed with the ps1 bag (the second picture) so when i came across country road (the first picture) having pretty much the same exact replica of the bag, i was quite shocked. i don't know what to think of this issue. some people would love this kind of stuff, having found something which is originally insanely expensive for a much lower price.
i've seen so many people or little kids who try to grow up too fast and i think that it's such a waste because they will miss out on their youth and would probably regret it afterward. i think the best thing to do is.. just enjoy where you are at the moment without thinking too much of the future. sure you can plan ahead but it doesn't mean that you have to do those things right now. that's just my personal opinion.
i can't wait for the new season of gossip girl to come out! it would be interesting to see the changes in the characters since they are all going to college. it should get really interesting. believe it or not, i have already set it up on my tv to record the season premier. just in case i won't be home to watch it. also thinking of recording the new shows that are coming up as well. aah.. i have to admit, i'm a sucker for these things.
here's what i believe in: investing in good bags and using it until it has run its course, that's how it should be. i used to have a lot of different bags to match all different kinds of outfits before but now, i just stick to one for a while (sometimes a while more than i want to) and that will be it. there won't be any hassle of moving your stuff from one bag to another or losing things along the way. that's my bag policy. do you have a bag policy?
