my summer movies

these two are the main ones that i want to see. i guess i am a sucker for romantic comedies and hollywood has not been producing much of them lately.. everyone is just going dark and twilight-y.. which in my opinion is not very healthy for the kids they are targeting.

opinions aside, what movies are you planning to watch this summer?

this is what i bring when i travel

i don't like bringing my daily moleskine planner/notebook when i am travelling because it has become so big, bulky and heavy! so this is my solution when it comes to journalling and travelling, i bring my moleskine cahier which may not be as durable as the original moleskines but i really appreciate how light it is.

i always have to have a pen with me as well. and that pen is most likely the one that's pictured above. i don't use any other pen except that. you can pretty much say that this pen will be my lifetime pen. i have no plans to use any other ones. okay.. i sound quite obsessed but seriously, i can't use any other pens except this one. and i take it very seriously.

what are you essentials when it comes to travelling?

have you guys seen the movie "he's just not that into you" ? i felt really liberated after watching that movie with my sister. it's not like i didn't know the things that they were talking about or the issues they were covering, it's more of a knock-in-the-head kind of feeling. sometimes you just have to see things visually or hear things being said, in order to realize it and understand it. that's what i think anyways! and boys are always black and white. never gray. maybe only special ones can be gray.

anyways, on a side note: i'd like to say hi to tumblr people who are visiting my blog! i used to have a tumblr but it was too much to handle, both a blog and a tumblr so i decided to close it down and just focus on this blog.

friendship for life

there are some people in your life that comes and goes.. but there are always those special ones, the ones who may not be there with you every single day but they will always stay in your heart no matter what.

and i've always thought that it doesn't matter how many friends you have, because it is more about quality instead of quantity.. there's no point in having so many people around you and yet, you can't have heart-to-heart conversation with them.

i'd rather have one friend whom i can trust and talk with for hours on end.

just a quick post

so, someone mentioned in my previous post that toms shoes are very comfortable and it's such a coincidence because i just bought one for myself recently [pictured above] and it is very true that they are very comfortable indeed. and they have just the right support. i love my golden toms! and also for the fact that it's for a good cause as well. check out their website if you are interested to learn more.

ps. what do you guys think about perfumes? is it something you wear daily? or on special occasions only? i have pretty much stopped using perfumes. i don't know why. maybe i should start using them again. any good suggestions?

what have you been up to?

so i'm slowly getting back into my routine. and all seem to be going pretty well for me at the moment, which is good. just to make things clear, the first two photos of this post does not belong to me.. i found them while browsing around but seem to have forgotten where i got it from. but i've always wanted simple shoes like that. and the headphone is just too cute to resist.. even though i already own one which looks very similar.

anyways, what have you guys been up to? it's always interesting to know what others are up to. don't you think?
