guess who's back..

this is going to be a short post since i have to unpack my stuff and get used to my daily routines again. i'm terribly sorry for being so slow on replying emails and comments but i will get around to it as soon as possible. and i think my google reader is exploding already as it is.. so that will have to wait as well. anyways, i'm kind of glad to be back on blogging again!

i love wood

i have really come to appreciate wood these days. it has that warm feeling if placed and used correctly. i love wooden floors, wooden tables and chairs.. anything made from wood, really. i should probably become best friends with pinocchio.

anyways. i am off for a little break. i shall be back within a week or so.

i am getting bored of the moleskine layout. i might change it soon. or maybe i should just do it in alternate order. anyways, the above photo is one of my favorites from my trip to new york. i love how the sky behind compliments the lighted stars. and the quote.. i don't know if anyone can relate to it. but i'm pretty sure someone out there would have had that exact thought at one point during their life. or maybe not. i don't know.

a belated package

this was from a month ago for my sister's birthday. all of us got something for her and i wrapped it all up with brown and gold paper. and you can never forget the brown strings as well. i didn't know how to wrap the bracelet on the bottom left so i decided that it can just serve as a decorative element as well. i was pretty satisfied with the result and i think my sister liked it too.

loving pastels

i thought i'd share this shop because it has such pretty housewares. i looked through the whole website and it seriously is a treat for my eyes. i wouldn't mind owning all of the things pictured above. can you imagine how lovely it would be having tea with those tea cups or hanging your favorite photos in those frames?

the climb

honestly, i am not much of a miley cyrus fan [even though i do secretly watch hannah montana when i have nothing else better to watch] but when i heard this latest song of hers.. it struck me in all the right places. i guess i can somehow relate to the lyrics with my current situation. go on and read it. and tell me what you think. yay or nay..?

i just watched gossip girl season 2 episode 23 and i loved it. i don't want to spoil it for anyone who has not seen it yet.. so i'm not going to say anything.

coffee.

i always drink coffee in the morning.. it keeps me awake. i wish i can make those heart-shaped things on top of my coffee, but i'll have to learn how to do it. it's just so pretty. i love how they always do it in cafes.

a new addition

my sister bought me this brown chair last week. i've been wanting to get one for quite a while now. and now i am a proud owner of one! i am super surprised at how comfortable the chair is.. i can seriously sit on it for hours and hours. i added a muji blanket on it for when i get cold and also a nice big pillow for extra comfort and support.

if anyone is interested, i found an alternative of the chair here.

i was thinking of spray painting the black legs to either gold or cream-ish white. which do you think is better..? or maybe brown.. i'm still trying to decide.
