there seem to be a problem

and i don't know how to fix it.

i wish i could go for an..

it'll be nice to just chill and drink a cup of tea or coffee with something sweet to nibble on. but i think that will have to wait for the weekend as i am extremely busy ever since i came back from my little break. honestly, i like the rush of things.. knowing that i have so many things to do and getting them done in time. it feels like i've accomplished a lot and i get to sleep really well at night. why does all of this sound so familiar....? i think i may have done a post like this before, or discussing about "the thrill of the rush".

anyways, i am off to do more work now. and thank you for all the comments on the previous posts. i really appreciate it a lot and i will surely take your advices on what to post in my blog from now on. thank you, once again!

permanently black and blue

technically this post does not consist of anything blue.. but i am really liking this song called "bruises" by chairlift. if you haven't heard of it yet, do check it out and who knows, you might like it too. i think i've posted about it before.. but it's that good that i am re-posting about it again.

anyways, i am kind of lost on what to write on my blog. i know that i can always just post my doodles up.. but i was wondering if i could ask YOU.. whoever you are, and wherever you are.. since you are the one who's reading this, what do you want to read about? and what do you want to see in this blog?

i have been trying different methods in writing down my usual quotes. and the above is my latest method. i cut out a piece of origami paper that i bought from muji and i just write/doodle away. afterwards, i take a photo and tada.. it appears on the blog. and after that, i either paste it into my notebook.. or i just keep it in a box with all the other paper junk i have.

an adorable little movie

i just recently watched this movie. and i know it's old but it sure is a good one. i found it to be so real compared to all those hollywood movies with the glitz and glam. don't get me wrong though cause those hollywood movies are also good. but this was just refreshing in a way.

and here's me still getting the valentine's bug..

a teapot from toast and it's on sale as well! they have it in navy blue and brown too. i think it's adorable and it's kind of like my dream teapot. the shape and all. it's just perfect.. like as though it came out of alice's tea party or something.

a life story diary from suck uk and if i ever see it in a real store, i would so buy it. it's just if i buy it online, the shipping cost would be insanely expensive considering this is going to be super heavy.

marc jacob's love story clutch from barney's and even though i know it probably wouldn't be a classic or anything. i just think it's cute. plus who doesn't love hearts when it's this time of the year?

balenciaga bag in praline from barney's. oh i love the color. and i love the name of the color. it looks so edible too! and it'll pretty much match anything that you wear.

balenciaga envelope clutch from barney's. again, the color really gets me. but i think this would be cute to carry around when you don't feel like carrying a bag.. and just something light which will fit your phone, wallet and maybe a lipgloss? who can resist that color.... seriously.

polaroid pogo in pink from urban outfitters. need i say more? i am really considering of getting this. but i don't know how good it is.. has anyone tried it..? and maybe have some sort of feedback? email me!!

cupcake bandages from urban outfitters. i probably wouldn't have the heart to use these.. but they would be so cute as stickers!

completely swamped

okay, first things first.. i got two awards from two lovely girls: charlotte of {the tea drinking english rose} and eve of {sunny night}.. which i am very grateful for. and i was also tagged by sprinkle so here goes the tag:

describe your personal style.
i would have to say that i am part tomboy and part girly, i guess. i mean i love my jeans but i also love to wear dresses, skirts and tights. so i guess i am a mixture of both. and i often shop in the guys' range of things cause i find it interesting and when you can shop on both sides, why not.. right? the more choices, the merrier. so in the end, it pretty much depends on my mood. if i want to dress up a little.. i'd wear a dress or skirt. but when i want to be comfortable and not care about anything, i wear my jeans and tshirt.

what are the staples in your wardrobe?
a nice little black dress, a nice little black skirt, skinny jeans, colorful tights, straight leg pants, loose pants, and lots and lots of tshirts [short and long sleeves]. i have tons of them. and i went from graphic tshirts to just plain tshirts now.

what's your signature look?
i don't think i have one. and i always believe that different people pull off the same clothes differently. so it's more of your character and how you bring them through your clothes that makes it to be your signature look.

what inspires you?
the things around me. from music to movies, to my family and basically just my surroundings. i think life inspires all of us, in a way.

who is your fashion muse?
i don't really have one. but there are a couple that i like.. ashley olsen, mandy moore, zooey deschanel, kristen dunst.. basically anyone who dresses effortless-ly chic and comfortable. and they know what looks good on them.

favorite purchase of all time?
hmm. i would have to say.. my balenciaga bag. i loved that thing. the size was perfect and it was so durable and the leather just became softer and softer as i used it. i really wouldn't mind having another one..

biggest splurge?
that would be between my hermès bangle and my macbook pro. i got the bangle myself for christmas last year.. it's yellow on silver, not the usual classic choice of color but i love it anyways. and the macbook pro is more like a need and definitely worth the splurge cause i can't imagine not having one right now.

what's your beauty routine?
uh.. i don't do much, really. i wake up and just wash my face with water and then put on moisturizer. and when i get home at the end of the day, i wash my face with facial wash and then more moisturizer. that's pretty much it.

what jewelry do you never take off?
i don't have any jewelry that i always wear and never take off. i tried doing that a couple of times [with rings and bracelets] but i guess they are never special enough for me to never take it off.

what are you wishing for?
a nice little break from my daily routines. which i think i will be getting in the next few weeks or so.

what are your obsessions?
notebooks. iced drinks and my bed.

anyways, this took me longer than i thought.. and i have tons of work to get back to.. so i guess that's all for now. but just a little explanation of the two photos at the top, one is mini tiny eclairs which were so cute that i could not resist but take photos of. they almost look like they were not edible. and the other photo is of the tags that i used for my christmas tags. i still have a whole bunch of them stashed somewhere. might re-use it for valentine's this year.

flowers eventually die

but you can always dry them and keep it in a box, if it meant so much to you. these are about five years old. and they are still as pretty as ever, in my opinion. even though they are dry and dead.
