so here's another pairing. i may be getting a little addicted to these "pairings" but whatever.. the more, the merrier right? and i also seem to post quite often these days.. definitely not in a rut of any sort.. which is good to know!! we all know how blog ruts can be sometimes.. maybe i've had my fair share for this year.anyways, a couple of you have been asking how the process of my doodles is like. well to make it not long and boring, i'll try to explain it as short as i can:
1. draw/doodle/write on normal paper with a pen
2. scan it in (sometimes i am too lazy to do this :p)
3. layout it out on photoshop (yes, i use photoshop)
4. save and blog it (tadaaaaaa! done!)
i guess the thing that most people don't get is the fact that i like combining the traditional way, which is writing and drawing by hand.. but then also digitalizing it using photoshop. i don't know if that makes sense. but i really hope it does. if not, drop me an email and maybe i'll be able to explain it to you better there?
that's all for now. toodles!!

The process is more or less as I thought it was. I does make sense, i used to do it also with my drawings :)
So cute post <3
The thing I love the most of your doodles is your handwriting! ♥
What a beautiful chandelier!
your way works for me! keep blogging, it's inspiring and adds colour and light to my day.
Thats what I do with most of my work for college...mixing old with new is beautiful

I really like your doodles the first time I saw it I was like I wish I could do that! But I'm not as talented!
could to you teach me how to draw like you pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :)
How do you host your images? I know they are through flickr, but how do you get multiple images up in one post?
thank you~
Clever! I totally understand why you'd do it by hand first (but, have you tried Illustrator? It's brilliant, it makes everything perfect) Keep up the good work! :)
your blog is totally awesome! :)
i do the same way...and often lazy about scanning...lol...i love your work really...

nice works.. easy and fun.. thanks for sharing..
Question, how do you overlay your doodles on a picture? I guess step 3 is what confuses me.
jennifer- it's in the layers' options. you can find out more through google what you can do with layers' options in photoshop since i am no expert on it. and i'm sure someone out there will be able to explain it all clearly for you :)
I hope I'm not being a bother, but what would I search for in google? Could you please point me in the right direction? Thanks for being so patient with me :] You're quite the inspiration.
