i didn't want to have to post about this. but i think it's time that i do.
i was always very lenient with people on crediting my work. it didn't matter much to me whether they did put my link up or not but it shows respect if they did, which was nice.
so recently, i came across a blog that pretty much used my layout and background (you should know who you are, and this is not a "hate" post because if it was, i would be linking you right now).
just for your information, i created my blog to look like one-of-a-kind so that it can represent me in a way. and i also worked hard for it since i am not a html genius. but to have someone take it away and use it as they want.. that's just a little too much.
so please.. you know who you are. do the right thing. thank you.

Your blog is really cute and popular. I dont see how anybody would want to copy it because it is so unique and pretty :) and you cant have two of these sites :D
I do take a few of your cute photography/quote pics and post them on my blog, but i credit with the link too, so the viewers know it belongs to you:)

Oh boo... this really stinks and I feel sad that someone would be so unkind. Especially as I'm guessing they're a reader here and that's how you found out. I hope they read this and fix it soon!

That really sucks. People definitely need to be educated about this, because I think a lot of them just don't realize.

Maybe ripping your background is wrong but saying that blogger is using your layout is totally wrong. This layout is universal. There's a website (www.yummylolly.com) that does free blogger templates and all her layouts are like this. So you have no right to say that the blogger is using your layout and you didn't even state that this background is yours. Even i can go to random blogspot, rip their background and say its mine.
Why not post something up at your sidebar and note whoever that is going to post your stuff. You see, people might not know where you got this background and so from and if they use it without knowing whose hardwork it is, i am sure the owner will make a big fuss outta it, like what's happening. & this is not a "hate" comment. I'm just expressing as one of your readers.
people who do this are so cheap. just waste. hope you will get back what is yours, figuratively speaking.
that's not very nice..it's the etiquette of blogging. Always credit back to the person whom you got it from..whether you know it or not if it's originally theirs. It's not something that need to be mentioned on the site..that's just the way things work isn't it? :)

and your blog really is a one-of-a-kind and the person who is doing this wants the same, but she/he shouldn't do this. this person should use her/his own imagination to create her/his blog and do not trying to take credits for hard work from others!!
