especially when it rains all the time.also, i have just started to watch skins recently. only up to the 6th episode of the first season. i was just reading about it on wikipedia and apparently the cast changes after every two seasons..? which is rather odd. not sure if i'm going to like watching different people and characters after every two seasons. i like constancy. just like grey's anatomy and gossip girl.

I want to start watching skins but now you mention the characters changing every few seasons, I am not that sure I wanna see it but you never know, I might be missing out on some great drama, what do you think?
I love Skins! Yes, the cast changes, which is a bit of a pain especially after watching the original cast develop- it's not quite the same, but I still watch it anyhow.

skins is wonderful!!!!!! i know it sounds strange to change the cast but you get to liking the new people just as much as the old. and the setting is the same.

i like constancy in series too, as i don't like when the character changes: you know, when someone leave the show and they put another actor to do the same character!
and i just love grey's anatomy and gossip, but my favorite is grey's anatomy and this season had a great finale, i can't wait for 6th season!!!

I LOVE SKINS. PERIOD. and its really difficult at first to change characters, especially since the first people were so lovable, but you kindof get used to it...
I just found your blog and I really like what I've seen so far.
As for skins, it's a great show. I usually don't like big changes either but this is an exception. In my opinion it's better to change the cast than to continue on with a bad story that isn't believable. Looking forward to hear what you think about it (:

From my understanding, they change the Skin cast every two years due to it being set during A levels (ages 16/17, 17/18) and since they all galavant off to different universities, it sort of makes sense really. With season 3 you do learn more about Tony's sister, Effy, who's in season 1&2 sooo.
Oh, sleeping to the sound of rain is one of my favourite things to do :)
