i don't like bringing my daily moleskine planner/notebook when i am travelling because it has become so big, bulky and heavy! so this is my solution when it comes to journalling and travelling, i bring my moleskine cahier which may not be as durable as the original moleskines but i really appreciate how light it is.i always have to have a pen with me as well. and that pen is most likely the one that's pictured above. i don't use any other pen except that. you can pretty much say that this pen will be my lifetime pen. i have no plans to use any other ones. okay.. i sound quite obsessed but seriously, i can't use any other pens except this one. and i take it very seriously.
what are you essentials when it comes to travelling?

What kind/brand of pen is it?
I tried using a plain Moleskine once, and it was, actually, very liberating. It is as if the lines lock in my creativity. Anyway, my essentials would be a good book or 2....or 3! And my journal and a staedtler "triplus fineliner" I love that pen. And I a bit snobby about my pens too, you're not alone.
Oh and my camera!
haha i know what you mean about having a particular pen, some just write nicer and it feels good to hold :D
i always like to bring a book with me when i travel and an ipod and a small digital camera becuase you never know what you might see!
A notebook is definitely a necessity...and a camera, of course! I could probably survive with only those if I had a little money.
i am obsessed with my pen too. there's only one type of pen i use to draw and write on my journal. i can't do without THE drawing pen, journal, camera and lipbalm when I travel.
My camera, ipod and phone. I simply cannot live without them :)
don't worry, i'm kinda obsessive about pens too. i only use a fine line pen kind, lol. i always take my notebook in case i need to write about something & the camera of course ^^
hmmm... I would say at least two of my cameras and my notebook. A map might help as well ;)
My special journal, diary, and green tea!
Uni figno pens!
Haha I love these pens, and I've been using them for 6 years;)
Is that what you use for doodling?
I'm the same with regular ol' bic pens. I love them and I've never found a pen I like to use more.
My eesentials are my weekly+notebook moleskine planner, a good pen, a good book, and my ipod. I can pretty much live with that =) I recently wrote a post about carry-on bag essentials if you're interested!
well, i always have my cellphone and purse, and sometimes I stick in a lipgloss or a notebook. i pretty much keep it simple...lol...but on the way I always get something to eat.
i like how you describe your lifetime pen. it sounds funny but i totally agree with you. i always stock up the pen i always use when the exams are coming until one day my mom asked,"what if the company suddenly stops producing the pen?".i laughed off her question but i secretly buy one every month.crazy much? haha.
my must haves while i travel have got to be a good storybook and hand sanitizer among other junks in my bag.
when i comes to travelling, i bring my mobile, a pen(but I actually hate that ones xD )a map, money, water water water, cigarettes so i don't freak out and my adress book to send postcards :P
I always bring my schedule notebook which I bought at Muji and fine black pen!
ps. thank you for the birthday wishes!! oxox
What on earth will you do when it runs out haha!
I have to have a pen with me too.. and my phone, water, chewing gum - it's like smoking to me, a notebook of sorts and whatever tickles my fancy
i know exactly how you feel about your pen !
i bring my little box of sharpies and my composition notebook everywhere and i'm so attached to them.. haha!
I know what its like to be obsessed with a particular pen. But i do find that those industrial, plain pens work just as well for ordinary writing. I'm planning on getting a molskine journal soon, and I'm so excited for it. Your blog has made it that much more monumental. I cant wait to create in it!
I have a seperate notebook which comes travelling with me too. . I find it easier and lighter. I always have a pen, usually a purple one!
Lovely blog by the way!
my big camera and bigger tripod
