friendship for life

there are some people in your life that comes and goes.. but there are always those special ones, the ones who may not be there with you every single day but they will always stay in your heart no matter what.

and i've always thought that it doesn't matter how many friends you have, because it is more about quality instead of quantity.. there's no point in having so many people around you and yet, you can't have heart-to-heart conversation with them.

i'd rather have one friend whom i can trust and talk with for hours on end.

i have one that's special. together we are different in every way. we don't see each other even every month and do way different things and live lives that are as unlike as possible. but she's always there.
i feel what you're saying (:

i'm with you all the way on this! the best friendships are the ones that are organic and just keep on going- no drama, no huge effort, just a natural and beautiful thing that is so rare. Here's to enjoying the quality of these friendships over knowing everyone and being popular but missing out on intimacy.

hiyah! guess what? just yesterday i was thinking about friendships and true friends who stick around despite trying circumstances. and i totally agree with you! - you might have a few friends but at least they're friends of quality :) that's most important. i really dislike it when i can't pour my insides out to my friends.

here's to quality friendships! xo.

you're so right about that!
i use to say that too: quality instead quantity!
isn't perfect when we are with a friend that we don't use to see a lot? cause when we're together there's so many to talk that time looks stand still!!

I feel like those special friends are the ones that you most take for granted, too. It's good to remember things like this. I love the little frame around the people.

I'm just like you, I have very few close friends but I don't mind cuz I can count on those and it's better than feeling that I have 50 and in the end I can't talk with nobody seriously...

Qualtiy not Quantity - that is what I say too!
I saw the photo of the coffee and called my neighbor (who is also a good friend) and asked her to join me for coffee this evening! As close as we are physically (backyards ajoined) we don't get to enjoy dedicated time together just the two of us! thank you for reminding me! I can't wait for that Late!
In friendship
Shari
