a box of five

one of these days, i would like to try out the macarons of all macarons from l'aduree. i was browsing through their site and everything looks so incredible. i especially love their packaging, it just adds that special something.

honestly, i used to hate macarons. i can't even believe it now.. but i did hate them. i used to think that they were neither cake, nor a cookie, somewhat in the middle of both. and i didn't think that they were my kind of dessert. but oh boy, was i wrong..

now, whenever i need to get something sweet for my taste bud.. macarons is one of the things i find.

*edited: i didn't even know that there's a difference between "macaroons" and "macarons" but thanks to an anonymous comment, now i do.

Oh. My. Gosh. Yum!!! I think part of the appeal is the pretty pastel colors. And of course, they're so delicious. You should try pistachio ones, they're the best. x

I don't think I'd even heard of macaroons before entering the blog world, but I've certainly become quite curious about them. If I go to Paris again, I definitely want to give them a try!

I was lucky enough to eat a l'aduree lemon macaron the other day.
Quite delightful I must say.
The ones from Paul in London are also wonderful.
