thank god it's friday. this week went by pretty fast. and i didn't bludge at all which is impressive. plus, i've been waking up earlier than ever.. well not THAT early, but earlier than last week so baby steps i guess.

if only i could get access to this tshirt, it would have made a great birthday present for someone today. so instead of not having it at all.. i am posting it here. it would be more true if the tshirt was to say "i am a monkey and i love bananas" cause she is a monkey indeed.

also found this on the web. it's so cute!! and it's the original yellow color of post-its as well. why don't post-it note people design such pretty things? why?! they need to be a little more creative than just plain square or heart-shaped post-it notes.. seriously.

here's the pages of my may notebook.. i hate cahier. going back to my weekly planner moleskine next month. for some reason, cahier makes my pen not work.. so that's why i hate it so much. it only works with ballpoints and i don't normally use ballpoints.. ever!!

blonde v.s. brunette

i am watching nothing these days. only grey's left since gossip girl is gone for the summer.. can't seem to find anything else better to watch. used to watch ugly betty but i got bored with that, same with heroes. the one i really look forward to now is gossip girl. i am curious about the new 90210 though, looks good but hmm.. will have to see the characters first.

photoshop on mac is so much easier. everything goes so much faster compared to my old pc!! there is a huuuuge difference. i would usually have to wait around 5 minutes or longer for it to load and then once i want to open a picture, it takes another 2 minutes to load.. so imagine how much time is wasted just to create something?! that's why i've stopped. but i am back to it again and it feels good. better than ever.

they are so simple and yet have such a sweet effect. i would love this ring as an everyday ring, it's so simple but very unique. looks perfect as it is. i remember looking at the forget-me-knot ring and falling in love with it.. especially because it was made to look like a rope. i wished i had bought it when i was in new york. boy, don't i have a lot of things that i wished i had bought while i was there.

if you're not into knots.. here's something as interesting, if not more interesting than knots.. you gotta love this guy for designing it all.took me awhile to realize what it actually was. truth be told, i had to read the description to realize what it really is.

urban overload

i was just popping over at urban to see if they have new things and it turns out they do. i swear.. i love their stuff. i also checked out their blog and found links for this and this. super addicted to burger time now.. it's so simple and yet so fun, definitely my kind of game. and ksubi is pretty cool. but from what i remember, they aren't very comfortable but that was from like three or four years ago. i'm pretty sure they have made it comfortable since then.

the towel is hilarious, it's perfect for a gift. the graduate hat is super awesome, you can ask your friends to sign on it, that's the whole purpose.. if only they had that in '04, i would have bought it for myself and my friends. the condiment bench is genius, it looks so cute!! the peace peeler is also very cute.. and they are selling pink flamingos now!! i always wanted those for some reason.. probably cause it's pink. and if i have my own house, i'd like that bed and that couch. not sure why i would need that laptop fan but it matches the macbook pro so why the hell not?

i get so happy looking at these products even though i won't be able to get a hold of them. i guess it's a good thing, eye candies and it's shopping without really spending any money.. just dreaming away =)

life can't get any better than this. i know i wrote in my previous posts that i was in my "random mood swings" phase but today was a good day and i think it will get even better and better. everyone has to fall down sometimes, in order to get up again. and sometimes when some things are too perfect, you need them to be not so perfect to appreciate the good things in life. i don't know, i think i might be just rambling..

awake at five a.m.

i slept early last night. i never sleep early on sunday night but i had nothing else better to do so i went to bed early. it was good. it made me able to wake up this morning.

in very small writing it says:

how i wish i could go to a diner and enjoy a hearty breakfast.. i've always had this dream of having a diner style dining area in my future house. i think it would be so much fun.

i found these here.. if i can afford it, i would buy everything from that site which would mean that my house might as well be a real life diner. i was searching for those new york coffee cups while i was there but i couldn't find any, obviously i wasn't finding it in the right places cause they seem to be selling everywhere else.

sunday is for sleeping

recently, i just printed a lot of the photos in my camera to paste in my notebook. i wish my photo printer would have matte paper cause it would make it look so much better i think. but for now, i guess glossy is good enough.

so i have work to do.. and it's not that hard, just 20 sketches of a shopping bag. i just need to get it done by today and i think i'm already late.

i found a new place for frozen yogurt/pinkberry.. it basically tastes the same or at least as close as it gets to the real thing and i just googled the name and apparently it's a slang for: " when a person becomes jealous for not being included in your extracaricular activities! " i wonder if the owner knows that or it's just a coincidence. anyhow, i'll be back often to get my fix =)

random mood swings

had to do a layer exercise for my "not-a-photoshop-class" and it was actually quite fun and that's what i came up with. wanted to put coffee cups in the picture but i couldn't find one that had the right angle so i left it as it is.

vintage children's books are love.. they're so simple but pretty.

i've been feeling weird these days. not too sure why. it's just a phase where nothing is exciting, nothing is new, everything is boring and everything is old. i'm just like a corpse.. but walking around, eating, sleeping and doing work. but still a corpse. i don't know. i hope i get over it soon.

coming towards the end of may

which means that the most anticipated movie is just around the corner!! aaaah, i can't wait to watch it but i don't want to put so much pressure into it cause that might end up in me getting disappointed in it. fingers crossed, i won't.

it's funny how we don't even have to see sjp's face to know that it's actually her in that picture, i guess she's that iconic when placed with mr.big next to her.. i'd like to make a big print of that photo, it's so pretty and sweet that it's breath-taking.

sleepy & sore

woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. my whole back seem to be aching and i don't know what caused it to be this way.. tried going to school but it's down cause they are doing the whole maintenance thing.

on tuesday, it was my great grandma's 100th day since she passed away. i wonder where she is now. reincarnated? in heaven? these white roses remind me of her funeral when in fact these were from my mom's birthday last month.

apparently, "they can symbolize new beginnings, or be a sign of farewell. they can convey feelings of love, friendship, respect and hope. underlying all of these messages is the impression of innocence and purity with which white roses are now synonymous." i just googled that..

over for the season

on the left was inspired by a certain gossip girl episode and i'm pretty sad that i won't have anything to watch until september.. but the finale was good nonetheless. for now, i have to find other things to watch..

well back to school and work again after having one day off due to public holiday. still have lots to do. it always seem that i'm running because of time, why can't time wait for me once in a while. i mean, that would be nice..

unwell

i wish i could stay at home and in bed for the whole of today but it's monday and i have homework that i should be doing. i might go home early and take a nap or something. currently i'm surviving because of coke, been drinking it non stop since breakfast.

i am liking these headphones and they seem to be everywhere now. i should get one. they look so cool, very retro but also very modern at the same time. i like!! i've only seen them everywhere on the net but nowhere i can just go to and buy. hmm. must go on a headphone hunt. but then again, i still have mine and they are completely fine.. just not as cool looking.

satisfied sunday

i always get the right amount of sleep on sundays. that's why i love it so much. no one bugs me, i make it that i don't have anything to do and it's pretty much a day of sleeping and eating at the comfort of my own home.

quiet saturday night

decided to stay in tonight.
had fries with chicken salt and orange juice for dinner.
might watch "the other boleyn girl" on dvd once i stop browsing the net.
decided to wear leggings as my pj bottoms from today onwards.
should do my homework but i can't be bothered.
listening to music that inspires me a lot.
might draw or paint after i'm done with this post.
