the wonders of watercolor

i haven't touched my watercolors in the longest time. actually i haven't even been doodling that much either. i don't think it's a good sign. i guess i'm just too caught up with my school work and other side stuff. oh well. i shall get back on it soon.. when i'm free.

i found these magazine spreads somewhere from the internet but i forgot from where. i LOVE it when they use fairy tales as concepts for a magazine shoot. it always turns out soooo dreamy and pretty. i guess it's like seeing your fairy tale comes to live and it gives you such a ooey gooey feeling. and i've always loved princess and the pea and thumbelina! i actually made a picture book based on the story of princess and the pea for one of my school assignments.. i had to illustrate the story and i think if i was to re-do it again, i would.

hello! :) i've been an avid reader of your blog for a while now. i think your artworks are brilliant!

anyway, since you are interested in photography, i recommend you take a look at this particular set by a talented artist, rosie hardy. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rosie_hardy/sets/72157606756695552/ since the photos you featured in this blog entry had something to do with fairy tales, i'm hoping you'd be delighted to see rosie's wonderful photos about fairy tales.

lots of love,
cash

I'm still having bad memories from being forced to use a 'watercolour wash' on the background of all of my GCSE art work. Yours looks pretty though.
