slacking off

i have been really lazy in the last couple of weeks and i really am trying to break the habit of sleeping late and waking up late. the strange thing is.... my dreams seems to be so much more interesting than my life right now. it's weird. i guess it's because i slept too much but seriously, the dreams that i have are like movies.

let's just say i was happy when i made this.

i tried drawing the girl with pen and then coloring it in with watercolors but it didn't turn out very nice. it was fine when it was without the watercolors but once i tried coloring it in, it just went really fugly. i guess i haven't quite mastered the techniques of watercolors just yet.. which is why illustrator comes very handy.
